On the job today with Patrick Stump (of Fall Out Boy) whose got a new solo project coming out.
#asketchaday 18 - I drew Patrick Stump. Go figure, right? I did it from memory, so it’s far from perfect. Except the bowtie. Those are always perfect.
I drew this mostly because of how I was feeling at work. I left my place of employment and came back three years later and lost a considerable amount of weight (150 pounds). At first, everyone commenting on my weight seemed like an ice breaker in conversation. A week later, it’s still all they focus on. They tell me that I’m “finally getting pretty” and that the more weight I lose, I will be “prettier and prettier”. One woman actually was surveying what I was eating for lunch and felt the need to comment on it, telling me that I should watch my carbs because I shouldn’t gain my weight back and be fat and lonely.
I’m a lot more than my weight. And so is Patrick Stump.
